Background | The Brand Requirement
A European outdoor pack maker approached us when developing a new multi-functional mountaineering backpack.
Their concept required a lightweight yet strong loop-webbing system that would allow users to:

🟧 Expand storage capacity during long-distance hiking
🟧 Keep gear modular without adding hard hardware weight
🟧 Maintain a clean aesthetic with integrated textile loops
The customer tested several regular webbings from the market — but the common problems remained:
❗ Conventional webbing collapsed when bending into loops
❗ Friction wear intensified at knotting points
❗ Aesthetic fiber fuzzing appeared after field exposure
❗ Prototype versions lacked elasticity & comfort against the pack body

We began with the backpack’s use environment first — not the material.
